Frankovka

Synonym (also Frankovka Crna, Frankovka Modrá) for the grape variety Blaufränkisch; see there.

The red grape variety originates from historic Lower Styria in what is now north-eastern Slovenia. There are about 120 synonyms indicating great age and wide distribution.
