Fine Nutmeg

This white grape variety is a new breed between Riesling x Muscat St. Laurent. The crossing was made by the French breeder Christian Oberlin (1831-1915) in Colmar(Alsace, France). By the way, the varieties Bouquet Riesling, Diamond Muscat, Edelmuskat, Feinriesling, Firn Riesling, Marienriesling, Muscat de la Republique, Muscat Dore de Semis, Muscat Flower, Muscat Bouquet, Muscat S cent and Muscat Riesling were created with the same parents. In 2016 no stocks were reported (Statistics Kym Anderson).
