Edelmuskat

The white grape variety (also Muskat Edel) is a new variety between Riesling x Muscat St. Laurent. The crossing was made by the breeder Christian Oberlin (1831-1915) in Colmar(Alsace, France). By the way, the varieties Bouquet Riesling, Diamond Muscat, Fine Muscat, Fine Riesling, Firn Riesling, Marian Riesling, Muscat de la Republique, Muscat Dore de Semis, Muscat Flower, Muscat Bouquet, Muscat S cent and Muscat Riesling were created with the same parents. In 2016 no stocks were reported (Statistics Kym Anderson).
