Firn Riesling

The white grape variety is a French new breed between Riesling x Muscat St. Laurent. The crossing was made by the breeder Christian Oberlin (1831-1915) in Colmar(Alsace, France). With the same parents, the varieties Bouquet Riesling, DiamondMuscat, Fine Muscat, Fine Riesling, Marian Riesling, Muscat de la Republique, Muscat Dore de Semis, Mace, Muscat Bouquet, Muscat Scent and Muscat Riesling were created. No stock was reported in 2010 (Kym Anderson).
