Diamond nutmeg

The white grape variety (also Muscat Diamond) is a new variety between Riesling x Muscat St. Laurent. The crossing was made by the breeder Christian Oberlin (1831-1915) in Colmar(Alsace, France). With the same parents, the varieties Bouquet Riesling, Edelmuskat, Feinmuskat, Feinriesling, Firn Riesling, Marienriesling, Muscat de la Republique, Muscat Dore de Semis, Muscat Flower, Muscat Bouquet, Muscat Scent and Muscat Riesling were created. In 2016 no stock was reported (statistics Kym Anderson).
