Oppenheimer Herrenberg

Alongside Altenberg, Kapellenberg, Kirchberg, Klosterberg, Rosenberg and Sonnenberg, this is one of the most common single-vineyard names in Germany. There are also the similarly named single vineyard sites Herrnberg, Herrenberger and Maximiner Herrenberg. Herrenberg is included in several other single vineyard names, for example Deutschherrenberg, Domherrenberg, Graf Beyßel Herrenberg and Kirchherrenberg. The name is usually derived from a former manorial estate. It occurs a total of 44 times in 9 of the 13 German wine-growing regions.

Erden - Moselle(Bernkastel)

The south-east to south-west facing vineyards at 220 to 300 metres above sea level with 15 to 60% slopes cover 15.5 hectares of vineyards on stony, heavily weathered clay-slate soil. Below this is the single vineyard Treppchen vineyard. The Riesling variety is mainly cultivated here. The Berres, Dr Hermann, Lotz Klaus, Roth Andreas, S. A. Prüm and St. Anna wineries, for example, have shares in the site.

Heidelberg/Leimen - Baden (Badische Bergstrasse)
