The winery is located in the municipality of Nierstein ( Nierstein area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. After internships at several renowned wineries and graduating from Geisenheim in 2011, Lisa Bunn was first responsible for the cellar and then took over the business two years later from her parents Georg and Eva Bunn, already the fourth generation of the family. Today, the family business is run by Lisa Bunn and her husband Bastian Strebel, who trained as a viticultural technician in Bad Kreuznach.

The vineyards cover 21 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Hipping, Ölberg and Orbel (Nierstein) along the Rhine front (Roter Hang), Fraugarten (Wintersheim), Tafelstein (Dienheim), and Himmelthal (Guntersblum). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau, Scheurebe, Silvaner and Gewürztraminer, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, St. Laurent, Merlot and Blauer Portugieser. Harvesting is principally done by selective hand-picking to ensure healthy and physiologically ripe grapes.
