The winery is located in the district of Groß-Jedlersdorf in the 21st district of Floridsdorf in the northwest of Wien north of the Danube. The family has been living there since 1848. A wine tavern is attached. The business is run by Peter Bernreiter. Worth mentioning is the "Wiener Heurigen Opernfestival" (Viennese wine tavern opera festival), which has been held since 2001 and at which renowned artists perform on an open-air stage in the courtyard of the wine tavern. The vineyards cover 8.5 hectares of vineyards on the southern slopes of the Bisamberg on predominantly sandy loess soils. They are 80% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (30%), Goldburger, Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc), Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris), Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling and Traminer, and 20% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger and Blauburgunder (Pinot Noir). The white wines are matured in stainless steel and partly also in barrique, the red wines in large wooden bar rels and barrique. A bottle-fermented sparkling wine is also produced. The winery is a member of Vienna Classic.
