The winery is located in the municipality of Prepotto (province of Udine) in the Italian region Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is managed by Stefano Novello. The vineyards cover six hectares in the Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC area. They are planted with the white wine varieties Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla, Friulano(Sauvignonasse), Picolit and Pinot Grigio, and the red wine varieties Schioppettino, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Merlot. The vineyards are cultivated according to the rules of Biodynamic viticulture. Among other things, the phases of the moon are taken into account during certain stages of vinification. The fermentation is spontaneous, with yeasts from the vineyard. No additives of any kind are used in the cellar. The product range includes red and orange wines. Depending on the type of wine, these mature for 23 to 35 months in large Slavonian wooden barrels or in barriques. They are bottled without fining and without filtration.
