The winery is located in the municipality of Feuersbrunn in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Wagram. A wine tavern is attached. The family business is run by Andreas Polsterer. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vines in the Hengstberg, Rosenberg, Spiegel and Stiegl vineyards. Two thirds of the vineyards are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (50%), Chardonnay, Riesling, Welschriesling, Roter Veltliner and Rivaner (Müller-Thurgau), and one third with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Natural viticulture is practised with integrated plant protection, cover crop and no herbicides. Thinning takes place twice a year. The grapes are always pressed whole. The white wines are matured in stainless steel, the red wines in large wooden barrels and partly in barriques. Premium wines are "Grüner Veltliner Upupa" (Upupa = lat. of the local bird species Hoopoe) and "Roter Veltliner Roter Graben". Noble brandies are also produced.
