There are two grape varieties with this name:
The white grape variety may come from Canada. The parentage (parenthood) is unknown. The early ripening vine is resistant to fungal diseases and frost. It produces aromatic white wines with muscatel. The variety is also suitable as a table grape. In 2016, six hectares of vineyard area were designated in Canada (statistics Kym Anderson). There are also vineyards in England, where the variety is grown in greenhouses as a table grape.
The white grape variety (breeding no. Geilweilerhof 3-28-51) is a new breeding between Madeleine Angevine x Silvaner. The crossing was made at the Instiutut für Rebenzüchtung Geilweilerhof in Germany by breeder Peter Morio. It is a wine grape. In 2016 no stock was reported (statistics Kym Anderson).
