The Johann Böheim winery is located in the municipality of Göttlesbrunn, district of Arbesthal, in the Carnuntum wine-growing region of Lower Austria. The winery is run by Johann Böheim and his daughter Stefanie. The vineyards cover 20 hectares in the Kräften, Stixbergen and Stuhlwerker vineyards. Half of the vineyards are planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Blaufränkisch and Syrah, and half with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner,Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Gelber Muskateller and Sauvignon Blanc. The white wines are matured in stainless steel tanks, the red wines in large wooden barrels or in barriques. The premium wines include Grüner Veltliner, Rubin Carnuntum (Zweigelt), as well as the red wine cuvées "Stuhlwerker" (Zweigelt, Merlot, Syrah) and "Cuvée Esprit" (Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch). The red wines are also bottled in magnums (1.5 l) and double magnums (3 l). Around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Fine brandies and bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of the winegrowers' associations Rubin Carnuntum Weingüter and Traditionsweingüter Österreich.
