The winery is located in the municipality of Feuersbrunn (Neufang 42) in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Wagram. The traditional winery has been run by Anton Bauer, the fourth generation of the family, since 1993. The vineyards cover 16 hectares of vines in the Gmörk and Rosenberg vineyards. They are 60% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Riesling,Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, and 40% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Blauburgunder (Pinot Noir). Natural viticulture is practised. A healthy, humus-enriched soil forms the basis for the deep-rooted vines. The physiologically ripe, hand-picked grapes are selected again on a sorting belt and unripe or rotten berries are removed.
