The white grape variety is a new variety between Villard Noir x Csaba Gyöngye. Synonyms are Augustovskij, Augustovskyi, Avgoustovski, Avgustovschii and Avgustovskii. Genes of Vitis labrusca, Vitis lincecumii, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera are included. The hybrid was crossed in Moldova. It is cultivated there in small quantities and used as a wine grape and table grape. In 2016, 0.3 hectares of vines were reported (Kym Anderson statistics).
