Producer description of "Panoramaweinhof Strablegg-Leitner"

The "Panoramaweinhof Strablegg-Leitner" is located in the municipality of Eichberg-Trautenburg (Leutschach an der Weinstraße) in the Austrian wine growing region of Southern Styria. A " Buschenschank " is connected. The family business is run by Franz and Erika Strablegg-Leitner. The vineyards comprise 16 hectares of vineyards in the areas Eichberg, Kaiseregg, Oberhube and Wurzenberg. They are 90% planted with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc,Pinot Blanc, Muscat,Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Morillon (Chardonnay), and 10% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt and Merlot. Frizzante, sparkling wines and noble brandies are also produced.
