Chenivesse

The white grape variety (also Chazalon 1-11) is an interspecific new breeding between wild v ines of the species Lincecumii x Vinifera. It contains genes from Vitis lincecumii and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in France by the private breeder Pierre Chazalon. The red-berried vine is mainly used as table grape, but also as wine grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
