The winery is located in the municipality of Leiro (Ourense province) in the Spanish region of Galicia. It was founded in 1988 by Javier Alén. A small hotel is attached. The vineyards cover 17 hectares. They are planted with the white wine varieties Albariño(Alvarinho), Albilla(Albillo de Albacete), Godello, Lado, Loureira(Loureiro), Torrontés(Alarije) and the 70% cultivated leading variety Treixadura(Trajadura), as well as the red wine varieties Brancellao(Alvarelhão), Caiño Longo and Sousón(Vinhão).
