The winery is located in the municipality of Bruck/Leitha in the Carnuntum wine-growing region of Lower Austria. It is managed by Alois Taferner. The vineyards cover just under four hectares of vineyards in the Langen Ohn, Übermassen and Ungarberg vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Rivaner (Müller-Thurgau) and Welschriesling, as well as with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec (Cot). The vineyards are cultivated according to the regulations of the KIP (controlled, integrated production) in viticulture. Quality-enhancing measures in the vineyard include careful pruning, gentle soil care, cover crop foliage care with shoot and leaf selection as well as thinning out of the grapes. The processing of the grapes and the vinification are carried out with modern technology as well as with traditional methods. The white wines are traditionally vinified dry, whereby special attention is paid to the preservation of the fruity note. The red wines are partly aged classically after maceration in order to preserve the varietal character, and they are also partly aged in barrique.
