The winery is located in the wine town of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kamptal. The traditional Summerer farming family has been based here since 1679. Alfred Summerer converted the formerly mixed agricultural business to pure viticulture and created the basis of today's quality business. This has been run by his son Rupert and Elisabeth Summerer since 1997. The vineyards cover 20 hectares in the Käferberg, Schenkenbichl, Seeberg, Steinhaus and Steinmassl vineyards. The range has been reduced to Grüner Veltliner (60%), as well as Riesling and Zweigelt, because according to the philosophy of the house, these are the three most suitable varieties for the Kamptal.
