Schenkenbichl

Riede (site) in the municipality of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kamptal. The south-facing, partly terraced vineyards cover a total of 34 hectares. The deep soil consists of crystalline rock and gravel with a layer of black earth. The white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Blanc are cultivated here. The wineries Hiedler Ludwig, Jurtschitsch, Leithner Thomas, Rabl Rudolf, Sax Rudolf and Summerer, for example, have shares in the vineyard.
