Sky

The Riede is located in the Kastralgemeinde Liesing in the 23rd district Liesing of the same name in the southwest of Wien (Austria). It belongs to the Großlage Maurerberg. The vineyard was classified by the Winzervereinigung WienWein as 1 ÖTW (Erste Lage of Austria's traditional vineyards). The east-facing vineyards with slopes ranging from 3 to 16 degrees cover 2.3 hectares of vineyards at 297 to 320 metres above sea level. The white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner,Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Neuburger, Muskat-Sylvaner (Sauvignon Blanc), Traminer, Zierfandler and Rotgipfler are cultivated here as Gemischter Satz. The vineyard is managed by the Edlmoser Michael winery.
