A native Texan, Adam Lee studied history at Trinity University. He moved to California and worked as a wine salesman and taster. In 1994, he and his wife Dianna Novy Lee founded Siduri Wines, named after the Babylonian wine goddess Siduri, in Sonoma County to realise his dream of making wine. Two years later, he marketed his first vintage. The focus is on the grape variety Pinot Noir, as well as Chardonnay in smaller quantities. In the meantime, wines are produced from the Californian AVA areas of Mendocino County (Anderson Valley), Monterey County, Russian River Valley and Santa Barbara County, as well as Willamette Valley in Oregon. In the cellar, non-invasive principles are followed with as little intervention as possible (as much as necessary, as little as possible). The wines are bottled without fining and filtration to preserve all the flavours. In 2015, Siduri Wines was acquired by the US family business Jackson Family Wines.
