Nivarius

Winery of the Spanish wine company Palacios Vinos de Finca; see there.

The company operates the three wineries TRUS, NIVARIUS and PROELIO in the regions of Castilla y León and La Rioja. The head office is located in the municipality of Nalda, south of the provincial capital Logroño. The owner is D. Javier Palacios. The company owns a total of 275 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are cultivated according to certified organic viticulture rules, with environmental protection and sustainability playing an important role. The wines are not (yet) certified as organic.

TRUS - Ribera del Duero

The main winery is located in Pesquera del Duero in the DO area of Ribera del Duero. TRUS is an acronym for Tierra, Roble, Uva, Sol (Earth, Oak, Grape, Sun). It was founded in 1999. The vineyards are mostly located at 700 to 800 metres above sea level and cover 145 hectares of vines, some of which are very old. In addition, grapes are purchased from 25 winegrowers who cultivate 50 hectares.

Mainly different clones of the red wine variety Tempranillo, as well as smaller quantities of the white wine variety Albillo Mayor are cultivated and processed. The wines are produced in the quality classes...
