The winery is located in the municipality of Wildungsmauer, directly on the Danube in the north of the Carnuntum wine-growing region of Lower Austria. A Buschenschank, which opened in summer 2008, is attached. The family business has been run by Leo Jahner since 2002. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vineyards in the two villages of Höflein on stony, gravelly and chalky loamy soil with a southeastern exposure and a wild wall. In Höflein they are mainly planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, in Wildungsmauer exclusively with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller and Chardonnay. The white wines are matured in stainless steel tanks, the red wines mainly in barriques. The flagship of the house is the red wine cuvée "WildWall" (Zweigelt, Merlot) from the best grapes of the vintage. Bottle-fermented sparkling wine is also produced. The winery is a member of the Rubin Carnuntum Wineries Association.

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
