The winery is located in the municipality of Joching in the Lower Austrian wine growing region of Wachau. It is run by the fifth generation of the family and has been managed by Alois junior and Erna Höllmüller since 2000. A "Buschenschank" is connected. The vineyards comprise six hectares of vineyards in the areas Angern, Buschenberg, Pichlpoint, Stein am Rain and Vorderseiber. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (50%), Riesling (30%), Gelber Muskateller, Müller-Thurgau andPinot Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt and St. Laurent. The cultivation is carried out in ecological harmony with nature. The grapes are gently pressed in the newly built press house, fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled fermentation temperature until the natural end of fermentation and then matured at a constant cellar temperature until bottling. The red wines are stored in large wooden barrels for at least one year. Fine spirits (grapes, marc, fruit) are also produced. The winery is a member of Vinea Wachau Nobilis Districtus.
