The winery is located in the municipality of Teesdorf in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Thermenregion. The house was first mentioned in a document in 1820. The logo on the bottle label shows the "Marterl under two lime trees" on Teesdorf's main square. There is an adjoining wine tavern where the entire range of wines is also served by the glass. The family business is now in its third generation. Johann Gisperg is responsible for the vineyards, while Johann Jr. has been in charge of the cellar since 2013.
The vineyards cover 16.5 hectares of vines. Two thirds of them are planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Blauer Portugieser, Zweigelt and St. Laurent, and one third with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Frühroter Veltliner, Neuburger,Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Riesling. The most important quality criteria are restrictive work in the vineyard, gentle processing of the grapes and careful ageing in the cellar.

If I were to rate websites, you would deserve the highest rating. It is rare to come across websites that provide such a large amount of data and are still so intuitive to use. Respect for the lovingly researched and informatively prepared encyclopedia. Keep it up!
