The winery is located in the municipality of Saint-Drézery, north-east of the city of Montpellier in the Languedoc region. The ex-industrialist Gérard Bru was motivated by a visit to Château Margaux to invest his entire fortune in the development of this 100-hectare vineyard with an impressive barrique cellar from 1990 onwards. Its origins lie in an old estate owned by the Comtesse de Ganges in the 18th century. The well-known oenologist Michel Rolland provided significant support during the development. The first vintage marketed was 1995 and the premium line is "Tête de Cuvée". The red wine is blended from Syrah and Mazuelo and the white wine from Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
