The winery is located in the municipality of Niedermorschwier in the French region of Alsace. The Boxler family, rich in tradition, has been resident here since 1673 and is active as winemakers. After the Second World War, Albert Boxler produced and marketed wine under his own label for the first time. Since 1995 the business is managed by his grandson Jean Boxler. Only his own grapes are processed, 80% of which come from the two Alsace Grand Cru sites Brand and Sommerberg. They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Muscat d'Alsace(Muscat Blanc) and Silvaner. The wines are fermented spontaneously with the vineyard's own yeasts. The ageing is carried out in old barrels. The product range also includes Crémants (sparkling wines) and a Edelzwicker.
