Communal appellation in French Burgundy in the centre of the large Côte Chalonnaise area. It covers areas of the commune of Givry as well as Dracy-le-Fort and Jambles. The vineyards cover some 450 hectares of vines, of which almost 70 hectares are in over 20 Premier Cru sites. These include Berges, Bois Chevaux, Cellier aux Moines, Clos Charlé, Clos de la Servoisine, Clos Marolle, Clos Saint-Pierre, Clos Salomon, La Baraude, La Grande Berge, Le Petit Prétan, Les Grands Prétans, Petit Marole, Petit Prétants, Vaux and Vignes Rouges. Every year on the first weekend in September, Givry hosts the "Fête de la vigne" wine festival.
