Xiongyuebai

The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Amurensis x Longyan. It contains genes from Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1967 in the province of Liaoning(China) at the Institute of Pomology. It is highly resistant to frost. The variety is used as a wine grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
