Vympel

The red grape variety is an interspecific new variety between (Seyanets Malengra x Amurensis) x Cabernet Sauvignon. It contains genes from Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1964 in the former USSR (Russia). No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
