The white grape sorter comes from Hungary. Synonyms are Boros, Boros Fodor, Thin Skinned, Fehér Boros, Fehér Dinka, Fehér Muskotaly, Matolai, Nyaehaju, Polyhos, Tumidula, Vékonyhéjú Zöldfehér, White Stone Shimmer and Zelenec. However, it must not be confused with the variety Arany Sárfehér (synonyms Fehér Dinka, Vékonyhéjú), despite the fact that it appears to have synonyms or morphological similarities. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2013, it is a presumably natural cross between Vulpea x White Heunisch (Gouais Blanc). However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see molecular genetics). In 2016 no stocks were reported (Kym Anderson).
The Wine lexicon helps me to keep up to date and refresh my knowledge. Thank you for this Lexicon that will never end in terms of topicality! That's what makes it so exciting to come back often.
