The white grape sorter comes from Hungary. Synonyms are thin-skinned, Fehér Dinka, Matolai, Polyhos, Tumidula, Vékonyhéjú Zöldfehér and Weißsteinschiller. However, it must not be confused with the variety Arany Sárfehér (synonyms Fehér Dinka, Vékonyhéjú), despite the fact that synonyms or morphological similarities seem to indicate this. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2013, it is a presumably natural cross between Vulpea x Heunisch(Gouais Blanc). However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see Molucelarg genetics). In 2010 no stock was reported (Kym Anderson).
