The winery is located in the municipality of Göttlesbrunn in the Carnuntum wine-growing region of Lower Austria. The traditional winery has been in the family since 1638 and is now run by the eleventh generation of Franz and Barbara Oppelmayer. The vineyards cover 12 hectares in the Haidacker and Schüttenberg vineyards. They are 40% planted with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and 60% with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Muskat Ottonel, Chardonnay, Rivaner (Müller-Thurgau) and Sauvignon Bl anc.
