The white grape variety is a new variety between Ezerjó x Savagnin(Traminer). According to DNA analyses carried out in 2013, the parenthood Ryzlink Rynsky(Riesling) x Sémillon, which is stated in the breeding list, turned out to be incorrect. The crossing was made in the Slovakian Oenology Research Centre in Velky Krtis. The plant variety protection was granted in 2002. The late maturing vine is resistant to frost, but susceptible to botrytis. It produces fresh white wines with fine acidity and citrus aroma. The area under cultivation in Slovakia in 2010 was one hectare (statistics Kym Anderson).
For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
