Malvasia

Malvasier (or Malvoisie) is another spelling for Malvasia. The name is used in German-speaking countries for various unrelated grape varieties. These are exclusively synonyms; an independent grape variety of this name is not known:

Frühroter Malvasier = Early Red Malvasia Frühroter Veltliner
Early white Malvasia = Luglienga Bianca
Grey Malvasia = Pinot Gris
Malvasia = Traminer, Trollinger (Schiava Grossa)
Red Malvasia = Brugnola and FrühroterVeltliner
Black Malvasia = Poulsard Noir
White Malvasia of Istria = Malvazija Istarska
