The white grape variety (also Würzburg B 55-8-59) is a new breeding between(Riesling x Silvaner) x Müller-Thurgau. From the same parents the variety Bacchus was also developed. The crossing took place at the Bavarian State Institute for Viticulture in Würzburg (Bavaria-Unterfranken, Germany). In 2016 no stock was shown (Kym Anderson).
