The white grape variety is an interspecific new breeding between Aron x Original. It contains genes from Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris (American), Vitis amurensis (Asian) and Vitis vinifera (European). The hybrid was crossed in Austria in 2008 by the breeders G. P. Weiß and G. Mayer. It is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
