The red grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Coarnă Neagra x SV 12-375(Villard Blanc). Synonyms are December Grape, Dekabrskij and Dekabrskiy. It contains genes of Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1961 by the breeders M. S. Zhuravel and G. M. Borzikova in Moldova. It is used as a wine press and table grape. In 2010, 78 hectares of vineyard area were registered in Russia (statistics Kym Anderson).
