Coarnă Neagră

The red grape variety originates from Moldova. Synonyms include Agrio Mavro, Ain Kelba, Asma, Cerna Razachia, Darkaia Nera, Dorcaja, Gara Kokur, Gara Moldaviya Uzumu, Herlani, Kar a Asma, Lattuario, Moldavskij Chernyj, Negru de Crimea, Persia, Razakija Cherna, and Terre Promise Noire. The ancestry (parentage) is unknown. It is a purely female grape variety. It is used as a wine grape and table grape. The variety was a crossing partner of the new cultivars Dekabrskii, Doina, Pamyati Negrulya, and Smuglyanka Moldavskaya. It is cultivated in Romania (104 ha) and in Moldova (10 ha).
