There are two grape varieties with this name:
The white grape variety (breeding no. 4/4) is a new cross between Juhfark x Irsai Olivér. The cross was made in 1967 in Hungary by the breeder Karoly Bakonyi. It is grown in small quantities in the Nagy-Somló area. In 2016, one hectare of vineyard was designated (Kym Anderson statistics).
The white grape variety with red-coloured berries originates from Greece. The parentage is unknown. It is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
