Irsai Olivér

The white grape variety is a new variety between Pozsonyi x Csaba Gyöngye. Synonyms grouped alphabetically by country are Early Ripening Golden Grape (England); Muscat Oliver (Germany, Croatia, Switzerland); Zolotis, Zolotisti Raniy, Zolotistyi Rannii, Zolotistyi Ranniy (Russia); Tezyetisen Qizili Üzüm (Turkey); Aranylo, Aranylo Korai, Irsai Muskotaly, Irsay Olivér, Irsai Olivér Muskotaly, Irsay Olivér Muskotaly, Olivér Irsay (Hungary). The cross was made in 1930 in Kecskemét (Hungary) by grower Pál Kocsis. Variety protection was granted in 1975. It was a crossing partner of the new varieties Agni, Cserszegi Fűszeres, Korona (1), Lena, Orpheus, Szirén and Zlata.
