Bukett vine

The white grape variety is a cross between Silvaner x Trollinger (Schiava Grossa), which was confirmed by DNA analyses published in 2007. Synonyms are Bocksbeutel, Bocksbeutelrebe, Bouquet Blanc, Bouquettraube, Boxer, Buket, Bukettraube, Bukettriesling, Englerthrebe, Sylvaner Musque and Würzburger. However, the variety must not be confused with the Austrian new variety Buketta. It was crossed in 1864 by the vineyard owner Sebastian Englerth (1804-1880) in Randersacker (Franconia). The variety was a crossing partner of the new varieties Bouquetsylvaner, Frühmuskat (Oberlin's Muskat), Madeleine Angevine Oberlin, Markant, Rosenmuskat and Scheurebe (Sämling 88).
