The winery is located in the municipality of Tribuswinkel in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Thermenregion. A wine tavern is attached. The winery is managed by Leopold Aumann. The vineyards cover 15 hectares in the Flamming and Harterberg vineyards. They are planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir and Merlot, and the white wine varieties Rotgipfler, Zierfandler, Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. The quality criteria are selective manual harvesting and yield restriction with the aim of producing wines that are characterised by their terroir. The flagship of the house is the red wine cuvée Harterberg (Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt, Merlot), matured for 18 months in 100% new barriques. Other premium wines are Zweigelt Reserve and Merlot Harterberg. The winery is a member of the Zierfandlerwelt winegrowers' association.
For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
