The white grape variety is a new breed between Rosa Menna di Vacca (Parmak Cerven) x Madame Jean Mathiász (Mathiász Jánosne). Synonyms include Atilla, Lord Rothermere, Rapogos Muskotaly, Ropogos Muskotaly, Teli Muskotaly, and Tely Muskotaly. The crossing took place in 1917 in Hungary by the private breeder Pál Kocsis.
