The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Traminette x Ravat 34(plant x unknown partner). It contains genes from Vitis aestivalis, Vitis berlandieri, Vitis cinerea, Vitis labrusca, Vitis lincecumii, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1976 and selected in 1990 at the Vine Breeding Institute of Cornell University in Geneva (New York). The vine produces white wines with a muscatel. The variety is cultivated in the state of Ohio. In 2016, three hectares of vineyard area were designated (statistics Kym Anderson).
