The white grape variety (also Mainriesling, Würzburg N 1-11-17) is a new breed between Silvaner x Riesling (which was confirmed by DNA analyses carried out in 2012). It must not be confused with the varieties Riesel, Riesliner or Rieslina, which have similar names....
