The red grape variety (breeding numbers Dalmasso 18-3, Dalmasso XVIII) is a new breed between Muscat d'Hamburg x Pirovano 62, crossed in 1931 in Conegliano (Veneto) by the Italian breeder Giovanni Dalmasso (1886-1974). With the same parents the varieties Giovanna, Liana and Teresita were also created. The vine is used as a table grape.
