Roupeiro Branco

The white grape variety comes from Portugal. Synonyms are Roupeiro and Roupeiro de Alcobaca. It must not be confused with the Síria (Roupeiro) variety, despite the fact that it appears to be synonymous or morphologically similar. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2020, it is probably a natural cross between Hebén x Folgasão. In 2016 no stocks were recorded (statistics Kym Anderson).

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
