The red grape variety (also VIV 14) is an interspecific new variety between Rkatsiteli x Seyve-Villard 18-315(Villard Noir). It contains genes from Vitis labrusca, Vitis lincecumii, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The crossing of the hybrids was done at the Institute Magarach(Ukraine). The vine is resistant to frost and fungal diseases. However, no stock was reported in 2010 (Statistics Kym Anderson).
