Rheingrafenberg

single vineyard in the municipality of Medersheim in the German wine-growing region of Nahe. The south to south-east facing vineyards with slopes ranging from 10 to 50% cover 27 hectares of vineyards. The soils consist of red sandstone with a high proportion of quartzite. About half of the grapes cultivated here are of the Riesling variety. The wineries Bamberger Heiko, Edelberg, Hehner-Kiltz and Hexamer Helmut, for example, have shares in the site.

Other individual vineyards with the name Rheingrafenberg can be found in the two municipalities of Frei-Laubersheim and Wörrstadt in the Rheinhessen wine-growing region.
